Let it be known

Let it be known that jackhammers are pounding. Spinners spinning.

This is still a work in progress – not abandoned at all.

In fact, a rehack of releases past has also set sail along with the sister voyages of New Songs and New Demonstrations. Rehack may be first to reach your shores, however the sea can be deceptive!

Meanwhile with each voyage the pulleys and ropes have worked inconsistently as we try to find that steady wind again.

The crew’s amazement, hard work, dedication is unreal. They’ve already glimpsed the treasures these voyages carry. They delight in bringing these to the appreciative few who will undoubtedly be waiting on the foreshore for the first vessel’s arrival. Watching the horizon.

We think we’ve got it

It seems as though concurrence has been reached. demonstration IV has edged closer to your ears. While work on demonstrations 5-1005 continue. XO

Interesting

And now I’ve made these seldom-read updates mobile. Perhaps a way to build. We only mentioned this little corner of the Internet to a handful of friends and cohorts. I love the quiet here, while our work on songs continue.

progress: steady

i’ve lost count of the number of pieces we are currently working on.  this is a good sign.  i feel a surge of excitement with each communique between us.   between ravens, herds, bastards, shepherds and other obsessions, we’ve got our hands full.  it’s exciting stuff.  the process of creating is oddly solitary, then reinforced/added to/cut away through group inspection.  it’s working!

advices

we recorded some stuff in the past and released.  did it ourselves.  and loved it.  loved the creation of it.  loved the shows we played. loved the music we recorded and the folding parties to make the cd sleeves for the discs we sold at the shows.

for us it was an expression we felt we could not live without.  nonetheless lives and circumstances changed such that we required an unannounced, unexplained, not-fully-comprehended break.

i think it may have been a necessary part of continuity.  that lack of productivity.  now we write and record new songs.  it’s incredible fun working on these pieces and we look forward to having the opportunity to present them to you.

in the meantime, maybe i’ll post random snippets (images, sounds?, words) etc.  just for the hell of it.
